Chuck Masi is a potter, teacher, musician, and video editor living in Portland, Oregon. He has focused on teaching Community Education Ceramics classes since 2014, after an earlier career as an elementary classroom teacher. Since 2016 he has worked as Video Editor for the National Council on Education in the Ceramics Arts (NCECA) and has edited hundreds of ceramics demonstration and lecture videos from around the world.
Chuck Masi received his Master of Education degree from Lewis and Clark College in 2002 and his Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from Portland State University in 1999. He was the recipient of a Regional Arts and Culture Council Creative Assistance Grant in 2020. He currently teaches pottery classes for adults and families in Vancouver, WA.
More than anything else, Chuck loves to share his knowledge and joy of ceramics and the creative arts through teaching, performing, and giving to others.
