Red Lodge Clay Center – Short-Term Resident 2018
I grew up in northern New Mexico in a small town called Taos. I lived on a ranch and raised chickens, lambs, dogs, and horses from a young age. Hands, cat whiskers, moss, patterns, teeth, and small things fascinate me. Besides clay, I am also interested in candy, yoga, sewing, anime, painting, and tea.
Creating something out of clay is like healing a wound. My work is dictated by process and the sentimental experience of interacting with precious items on a daily basis.
