Red Lodge Clay Center – Short-Term Resident 2012
I grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania and attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where I received my BFA in ceramics as well as an Art Education Certificate.
Upon graduating I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee where I was a post baccalaureate student in ceramics at The University of Tennessee. While living in Knoxville I worked at Might Mud Ceramic Studios as a studio assistant and a throwing/handbuilding instructor.
…The ability to handle and interact with objects is a sensual experience that fulfills a fundamental impulse. My work confronts ones level of visual and tangible comfort.
