Curatorial Statement
Ernest Gentry completed his MFA at Utah State University in the Spring of 2010. He is currently the Ceramics Lab Coordinator at Collin College in Plano, TX. A penchant for sparse Danish design merges with a philosophy of barter objects familiar in African cultures in his work. This is an opportunity to invest in the future of functional ceramics by supporting an as yet unsung voice.
